Surprise Light City for AJ Autos

Based in Weston-Super-Mare, AJ Autos are a family run recovery business with over 30 years’ experience of dealing with breakdowns and accidents. If a roadside repair is not possible, their fleet of light and heavy recovery vehicles are equipped to recover any size of vehicle from a scooter to the largest HGV.   

Throughout 2025, Andy the director of AJ Auto’s and Manager Tom James had been discussing the acquisition of an Isuzu spec lift for more challenging tasks. Andy consistently demonstrates a commitment to reinvesting in new equipment for his employees rather than personal indulgences. After conducting thorough research and consulting with other companies utilizing similar equipment, the Jige Light City consistently emerged as a top performer in terms of reliability, robustness, and value for money. Consequently, after discussions with other key decision makers within the business, namely Tom’s mother Jane, and partner Beth, they decided to purchase one as a token of their appreciation and surprise Andy with it at this year’s Professional Recovery Tow Show.   Tom commented “We were all in complete agreement and Boniface was, of course, chosen for this endeavour. They went above and beyond to help me make this happen and we had the pleasure of taking delivery of our new Isuzu D-max with Jige Light City equipment at the show on September 25th. It meets all of our requirements, featuring a motorbike frame, dolly wheels, air suspension, uprated wheels and an impressive 7-tonne train weight. We have truly pushed this truck to its absolute limits, and it consistently exceeds expectations. The build quality and support from Boniface are indeed unquestionable.
