Five More Boniface Slidebeds Join the Richford Fleet

Following on from last month’s deliveries, Richford Motor Services have added another five Boniface slidebeds to their growing fleet. With over 400 vehicles on the fleet, Richford are constantly re-investing into the business - replacing older vehicles and adding new ones to ensure they can cope with increases in demand, without sacrificing their exemplary reputation for customer service.

Operating from 17 depots located throughout the country, Richfords 400+ strong fleet is well maintained with no expense spared.  Impressively for such a large fleet, the majority of vehicles are under 5 years old meaning they are all state-of-the-art and incorporate all the latest safety features.

These latest vehicles are, once again, additions to the fleet and are part of a much larger batch of light and heavy-duty vehicles due to be delivered throughout 2025 and beyond.

Pictured is just one of the two 12t Volvo crew cab chassis which have been delivered, fitted with Boniface 5t aluminium VLA slidebed, galvanised subframe and 2000Kg capacity 2nd car lift.  All their vehicles including this one, are built to Richford’s exact requirements with many unique features. Their builds also incorporate many standard Boniface options extras including greedy ramps which allow a casualty vehicle to be positioned over the winch - maximising deck length, 2000Kg capacity 2nd car lift, side winching points, wheel skates, wrecker kit, radio remote control with cab mounted holder & buzzer, LED strobes, LED beacon, LED work lights, jump leads to name just a few! 

The 2nd picture shows three new DAF LF 260 day cab’s fitted with Jige Solomatic slidebeds, lie flat top decks, hydraulic winch and spectacle lift with extra-long extension. These vehicles also feature many optional extras specified by Richford including stainless steel locker boxes with LED lighting, various LED strobes, LED beacon, radio remote control, low pull facility, wrecker kit, jump leads, side skirts and much more.
