Eastern General renew their fleet with Boniface

Eastern General Recovery Services based in Brentwood Essex have chosen Boniface Engineering as their preferred supplier for their latest vehicle, a 3.5T Champion Slidebed mounted onto an Iveco Daily chassis.  Following the success of this vehicle they have now come back to Boniface to place more orders for builds in 2023.

John Cox, Eastern General, General Manager, said “we have tied up a deal with Boniface Engineering for our fleet renewal programme, and look forward to adding many more new additions, our drivers are already impressed with the quality of the build.  We have covered Essex and London for many years working with all of the majoring motoring organisations and whilst we have only previously run light commercial vehicles, we are now in talks with Boniface to provide us with our first heavy recovery vehicle”.

The Champion Slidebed is a very well-established product renowned for being strong, reliable and extremely dependable.  The shovel tail design incorporated into the side raves allows the Champion bed to provide a good loading angle making the loading of cars easier and quicker. The galvanised sub frame and tilt frame provide prolonged life expectancy of the equipment whilst the knife edge bed rollers help to protect the bed and the road surface when loading and unloading vehicles.

As with all Boniface builds there are a huge amount of options that can be chosen and this build had the following: 2 plastic stowage lockers, 3.6t hydraulic sliding winch, 2 function remote for winch operation, rear towing electrics, 2 pairs of LED work lights, 4 position side winching capability and LED strobes.
