Highway Recovery Ltd has been at the forefront in the rescue and recovery industry for over 50 years.  They are long standing friends and customers of Boniface Engineering and were the 1st member of the Interstater Owners Club which was formed back in the 1990’s.  Since then, they have owned (and continue to do so) many Boniface heavy duty products, including Interstaters, Recoverer, Recoverer Plus, Recoverer Trident and also numerous light duty products including Holmes, Champion, VLA and T35 slidebeds.

Providing a first-class customer service has always been the driving force behind everything that Highway do.  Constant attention to detail, ongoing staff training, and re-investment into the business ensures they run the latest and most efficient equipment, all of which contributes to their success and continued growth.

Highway’s latest addition to the fleet is this stunning 8x4 DAF XF 530 fitted with Boniface Recoverer Trident equipment and Deluxe stainless-steel bodywork.  From the outset, Highway were very involved with the build, visiting the factory and working closely with the Boniface Sales and Engineering teams to ensure the specification was exactly as they required.  Throughout the build process, regular communication ensured that all tools, accessories and ancillary equipment were meticulously stowed within the stainless-steel bodywork, ensuring that the vehicle was not only good to look at, but exceptionally practical and easy to use. Highway chose many of the optional extras offered by Boniface making this a very high spec vehicle, ready to tackle whatever job it is required to do. From heavy winching to long distance towing, this vehicle can do it all!

The Recoverer Trident has been carefully engineered to provide exceptional recovery capability using its heavy-duty top boom whilst being light enough to be installed onto a 3 or 4 axle vehicle and used for everyday lift and tow work via the integrated underlift.  The equipment features two dual speed heavy-duty hydraulic winches, and a choice of standard or side extending rear stiff legs with spades/feet – both of which ensure that the vehicle is well anchored and stable during heavy winching or lifting operations. Boniface currently have two Maxireach lowline booms available, both of which are compatible with the Recoverer Trident and each offering unique benefits. Highway’s vehicle pictured is fitted with the ‘K’ variant which is the longest, lowest and most powerful boom produced by Boniface.
