| VLA Slidebed | Boniface Engineering’s latest development is a Very Low Approach angle 5T capacity slidebed which uses a double rack and pinion drive to move the bed backwards and forwards and is able to achieve a loading angle between 3° and 5°(depending on the chassis). The fully floating tilt means this equipment has a one button operation to move the bed fully off or on and the operator can switch between bed and winch functions on either the radio remote or push button control station. To comply with the latest safety directives the VLA system prevents any movement of the equipment once the operator has released the controls by integrating a brake with each of the drive motors and a check valve on the tilt cylinder. The VLA is available with either a steel or aluminium bed, an 8000lbs EN14492 compliant sliding winch built into the bed, a 2000kg second car lift and radio remote for the winch and bed operations (with the option to include the second car lift functions). |
