4 axle trailer

We have been working hard to improve the performance of our 4 axle trailer, the three areas we have concentrated on are height, clearance over the neck and tie downs.

New lightweight aluminium boards to fit the expanders.

We have just introduced these lightweight width expanding ramps, they simply fit into the existing tubular expanders that can the extended sideways to provide a wider deck loading space.

To reduce the height of the casualty, in this case a tractor sitting up over the front section of the trailer we have incorporated wheel wells into the design which drop the height of the whole outfit by over 3”.

Lowering the wheels has led to us reducing the neck, the design has changed to accommodate large diesel tanks which often have low balance pipes.

The trailer we supply now have side tie downs, we found that frequently the wheels of the casualty would obscure the deck mounted tie down. These allow easier chaining down
