European Tow Show 2009

On all the exhibition days at the European Tow Show this year Boniface were able to demonstrate the the performance of two Century 1075 Rotators, as well as one Interstater with an 80 tonne metre crane and the skill of the operators who use during the "All Industry Display Team" daily event. The support of three of Boniface's customers was immense as they had devoted both people and valuable resources for the duration of the show and the professionalism of the people operating the machines was apparent by the way the different companies worked together to smoothly undertake their respective tasks.

Two casualty vehicles were used, a long container and trailer with tractor unit and a bus, both were rolled on their side. The bus had to be rolled back onto some catch bags, this was achieved effortlessly by Darrell Mansfield's three sons who operated the large Fassi crane installed in front of an  Interstater 6, it was noticeable that the crane was capable of much bigger things! The container was rolled and moved by Saunders and FAM working together in an intricate manoeuvre
that involved passing the load between the two vehicles, in fact the gap available was less than the length of the container.

The demonstrations were choreographed and supervised by Nick Ovendon with commentary by John Coupland who are organisors of all the displays, other manufacturers were represented and the skill of the operators of these products is also worthy of applause.
